About Us
We believe that every piece tells a story, a story of hands that craft, of wood that breathes, and of spaces that come alive under the open sky.
Mawazin was born from a simple truth: that design should honor nature, and craftsmanship should outlive time.
Furniture is not made for seasons — it’s made for moments. For sunlight and laughter, for gatherings and quiet reflections. Every curve, weave, and grain carries the weight of our promise: to create beauty that endures, and comfort that feels like home.
In every form we shape, in every line we draw, and in every joint we make — there is balance.
Mawazin is not just a name. It is a worldview. A philosophy born out of building — slowly, precisely, and with deep respect for material, structure, and life.
Meet the Maker
Attar
Mawazin was founded by the architect Ahmad El Attar whose hands know the wood as intimately as his mind knows structures. Over more than a decade spent on construction sites, he learned to think beyond blueprints and embrace the poetry of wood grain, the honesty of joinery, and the silent rhythm of materials.
He is a builder First, designer second—someone who learned from the physical act of making. His career began in 2011, crafting outdoor furniture, cladding, and landscaping structures across Egypt and Saudi Arabia. His understanding of architecture, carpentry, and landscape construction created the foundation for Mawazin’s distinctive identity.
To him, Mawazin is deeply personal. It represents how he lives—a life balanced between family and work, tradition and innovation, precision and instinct.
It’s not just furniture; it’s his worldview in tangible form.
