1. Pricing & Validity
- Prices are valid for one week from the quotation date and may be subject to change thereafter.
- Delivery cost is included within Cairo only. Additional charges may apply for deliveries outside Cairo.
2. Client Information & Legal Requirements
- Customer ID is required by law for tax and financial purposes.
- A detailed delivery address and Google Maps location must be provided at the time of contract signing.
- The client address stated in the contract will be used for delivery, with 24-hour confirmation from MAWAZIN prior to delivery.
3. Orders, Customization & Production
- Orders will be delivered within twelve weeks from contract signing date and down-payment confirmation, unless otherwise stated.
- Custom orders are non-cancellable and non-refundable.
- Order modification or cancellation is not permitted once production has started.
- Missing or delayed client inputs (measurements, colors, fabric selection, sample approvals, etc.) will pause production and automatically extend delivery timelines.
- After down-payment and contract signing, no refunds are permitted.
4. Payment & Storage
- Full payment is required before any furniture leaves MAWAZIN’s premises.
- MAWAZIN allows two weeks of free storage after order completion.
- Storage beyond this period will be charged at 5% of the total order value per month.
5. Warranty & General Material Disclaimer
- MAWAZIN provides a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, limited strictly to defects in workmanship or factory production.
- A two year warranty applies to outdoor fabrics and cushioning materials, covering manufacturing defects only.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Natural aging, patina, or color variation
- Fabric fading due to UV exposure
- Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or improper maintenance
- Damage resulting from environmental exposure beyond normal conditions
Warranty Conditions
- Warranty validity is conditional upon strict compliance with MAWAZIN’s Maintenance & Care Guide.
- Any unauthorized repair, alteration, or third-party modification will void the warranty.
- Warranty claims are subject to inspection and approval by MAWAZIN.
Natural Materials Disclaimer
- Wood, marble, leather, and other natural materials may show variations in tone, grain, veins, knots, or wrinkles. These characteristics are inherent to natural materials and are not considered defects.
6. Outdoor Usage & Environmental Exposure
- Outdoor furniture is designed for exterior use under normal weather conditions.
- Continuous exposure to extreme sunlight, sandstorms, salt air, humidity, or heavy rain may accelerate natural wear and aging.
- Products used in coastal areas (including but not limited to North Coast, Ain Sokhna, and the Red Sea) require enhanced maintenance. Failure to follow recommended care may limit warranty coverage.
7. Natural Aging & Patina
- Outdoor wood (including teak and hardwoods) will naturally change color over time, developing a silver-grey patina when exposed to weather.
- Hairline cracks, surface checking, and minor movement caused by temperature or humidity fluctuations are normal behaviors of natural materials and are not covered under warranty.
8. Maintenance & Care Compliance
- Warranty validity is conditional upon proper maintenance as outlined in MAWAZIN’s official maintenance guide.
- Failure to apply recommended oils, sealers, or fabric treatments may void the warranty.
- Cushions must be stored indoors or in weatherproof storage during rain, sandstorms, or extended non-use periods.
9. Fabric & Cushion Performance
- Outdoor fabrics are weather-resistant but not stain-proof.
- Color fading due to UV exposure is considered normal wear.
- Water-repellent treatments reduce water absorption but do not render cushions fully waterproof.
10. Metal Components
- Metal frames and fixings are treated for outdoor use; however, oxidation or patina may occur over time, especially in humid or coastal environments.
- Corrosion caused by scratches, improper cleaning agents, or environmental exposure is excluded from warranty coverage.
11. Delivery, Installation & Accessibility
- Accessibility is the sole responsibility of the client. All entrances, hallways, staircases, elevators, and access points must accommodate the items.
- Installation requires a level and stable surface. MAWAZIN is not responsible for instability caused by uneven ground, soil settlement, drainage issues, or landscaping works performed by others.
- Building or compound policies must be communicated to MAWAZIN prior to delivery.
- Deliveries above the third (3rd) floor require special arrangements and may incur additional charges.
- Delivery rescheduling or cancellation requires 48-hour prior notice.
12. Fixation, Anchoring & Structural Responsibility
- Pergolas, cabanas, large umbrellas, and fixed outdoor elements may require anchoring or structural support.
- The client is responsible for site readiness, approvals, and any civil or structural works unless otherwise stated in the contract.
13. Product Fit & Technical Responsibility
- For entertainment centers or integrated units, the client is responsible for:
- Ensuring televisions and electronic devices fit within provided openings
- All required electrical and electronic connections.
14. Commercial & Hospitality Use
- Furniture supplied for commercial, hospitality, or public spaces may be subject to different warranty terms due to higher usage frequency.
- Commercial use must be declared at contract signing.
15. Seasonal Delays & Force Majeure
- Delivery timelines may be affected during high-season periods (summer, Ramadan, Eid, peak resort seasons).
- MAWAZIN shall not be held liable for delays caused by extreme weather, material shortages, transportation disruptions, or governmental actions beyond reasonable control.
16. After-Sales & Maintenance Services
- Maintenance, refinishing, or refurbishment services are available upon request and are charged separately.
- Any third-party repairs, modifications, or maintenance void the warranty.
17. Product Placement & Safety
- Outdoor furniture must not be placed near open flames, fire pits, heaters, or BBQ units.
- The client assumes responsibility for safe usage and supervision, particularly in hospitality or family environments.
18. Photography & Marketing Rights
- MAWAZIN reserves the right to photograph completed projects for marketing and documentation purposes unless explicitly declined in writing.
